Slight Lighting Problem

Hey guys.
Just had a power cut, the lights were meant to go on at 8am but the power cut meant that there was a massive delay.
Light didn't go on till 10am.
This plant has been on a 12/12 cycle for almost 2 weeks.
Will this really damage the plants growth?
Also, what should I put the photo period on when I wanna start producing buds?
(Got the white hairs coming through so I must be doing the right thing?)
Or, how do I speed things up? If that is at all possible.
Sorry if I'm asking too many questions.
But I find it easier to understand people on these forums than websites that use all this cryptic language and terms for marijuana growing.

Peace, and many thanks.

bonz is right you can either set your plants time to 10 or just go and make that day short... They will be fine we would love to see what your little ones look like!!

and for your photo period you are on it 12/12 is to make buds 18/6 24/0 is for veg

I have learned not to sweat the small stuff yes it is a 2 hour delay but it isn't like your plants went a whole day with out light or your timer didn't kick off the lights!!

a lot of people use 24/0 and a lot of people use 18/6 it is just a matter of preference. I use 24/0 when they pop out till about 2 weeks then I transplant to my hydro bin and set it for 18/6. Lighting is the same for hydro and dirt so it'll be all good in the neighborhood lol

I'll put up some pictures actually... although its hard to see it.
All is good however.
Thanks mate.

i use 18/6 because they need a rest period, and there is more action or growth at night actualy

I could probably try both methods actually.
I have 2 seedlings. relatively at the same age. So I'll test things out.
Thanks

It'll be 6-12 weeks before your budz are ready . . . but you'll have little buds in a week or two (based in your pistil report).

Awesome thanks man.
I'll bear that in mind.
Also... I have a window that can be opened to let fresh air in haha.
Other than that, its a pretty low budget grow apart from a 400watt light.
Its really really bright haha.

But yeah. THanks man.

Also, does anyone know if, cutting the top off of a plant helps it grow outwards? Rather than up.
How do I stump the plants growth and just let it grow outwards?

Hey mate, photos are up in my gallery if you're keen to take a look.
Thanks man.
She looks like she is doing pretty good. Yeah the light you use for flowering drains all the color out when your taking pics lol. In about 20 25 days you can look forward to going into your grow area and seeing little happiness all over your little one that look like this. Mine is about 30 days into flowering and I am getting so excited lol

just saw your other ? you can do low stress training it is a bit late in your grow for it but it will work good for ya

if you top your plant it will stunt the growth a bit and you will get 2 colas instead of one

how big is your plant now?
