Small grow cab ideas... input needed.

So After moving i have had to think outside the (grow) box a bit. I went from a 6 foot wide by 15 foot long flower room and a decent size veg room (plus a newly built flower room in my garage) to a much smaller grow cabinet i made. It's 31 1/2" X 32" by about 5 1/2 feet tall, closer to 6 feet. (was an extra cabinet from the kitchen that was never used)

I've got it plumbed with my light hanging and intake and exhaust fan. Also is completely lined with Reflectix.

With my 400 watt light and intake fan on, the temp stays right around 84 degrees (+ or - 1-2 degrees).

Now to make it easier to water I'm thinking about building a troth style bucket instead of using 1 gallon pots but im not sure how tall to make the side walls? i don't want the plants to get so big that they wont fit in the cabinet anymore and i know ill be LST'ing the piss outta them along with fimming to keep them shorter and bushier. Not sure if i can get a screen in there?

I was thinking maybe 8" tall by 28" squared. I'll have holes drilled in the bottom and a slide out pan to dump any run off water. So essentially a "floating" box of sorts.

I'm trying to get this ready now because next week I'll be receiving a few clones and a C99 grown from seed. (c99 will be only a few inches if that by then)

But as I'm sitting here pondering this, I'm thinking 8" tall may be too tall? Maybe 6" would be better? What do you guys think?
