Hello all, hasn't this place grown!

A few of you old stoners may remember me from back in...ohhh 2008? I had great help with my problem then and proceeded to make a couple of good friends and contacts on the site- as well as my ghetto water hash technique!

ANNYYWAAYY..

A small number of L.A. Cheese that were started late (may) but substituted with a 400W HPS to help bring things on. It's a tried and trusted method of mine to substitute the HPS with one of the best lights around- the SUN! As i only grow a few I dont mind carting them about from cupboard to green house too much. It works well for me.

I've had my share of pests in the past.... nothing too nasty. Mainly just evil-damn Spider mites and a few black/white fly... the odd aphid. I do live in a very rural area.

So, as I said, I had a few blackfly trying to make themselves a home and was happily removing them by hand- there really were only a few and I'm no stranger to what a full tribe of those fuckers can do!
This was going OK... I applied very watered down washing up liquid to a few areas just with my fingers and the faintest of sprays over the soil area.

All good I thought, problem solved and was probably just an excess of pests after some hot then humid weather... However I approached my little ladies (as I said, these are none of my old monsters, just enough to get me by) and as well as a few more black fly 'holes' there's this weird squiggle almost like a caterpiller or slug trial but with no evidence of the beasties.

I've enclosed the photos- theyre not great, please excuse them)

I'm not usually down with man-made pesticides... I know only of watered washing liquid and neem oil (which ive never tried) but if I'm gonna spray it would have to be now as we're juuust starting to put out Pistiles and flowering leaves.

Thanks for reading and I hope this means I spend a bit more time round here- a few of us got some catching up to do!

i would get a bactria to spray all over them, Bacillus subtilis is sold like crazy as ORGANIC even though its DNA has been significantly altered by humans
