ok guys I'm thinking about doing a mini grow ! I got a 20x20inch grow space in closet. I have a diy led bulb grow light that puts off about 90watts. I'm thinking of using two one gallon pots.
First am I using enough light to maybe get a zip or two ?
second are the pots big enough ?
Should I grow more than two ? Would I have Enough light ?

Thanks in advance much appreciated!IMG_0849.JPG

My advice would be to go with one plant in a large container like 3-5-or 7g smart pot. You will get a better yield as the plant will have more space for root development. Better root develop, more internoding which means more bud site. You don't have a lot of light so perfect one plant instead or trying to get two mediocre plants.

So I have a 3 gallon pot would that be big enough ?
I got 2 ounces per plant using 3 gallon pots but in that space you should grow a single plant and top and train to fill the space. a week or two more veg time but well worth it

In my opinion 1 gallon pots are too small to even think about getting anything more than 10gs dried and thats still if everything else is done perfectly I wouldnt want to flower in anything smaller than a 3 gallon if you really want some decent sized buds. (Bigger Roots= Bigger Buds)
Secondly you want about 110 real watts per plant inorder for them to really thrive. Youre saying that youre gonna veg 2 plants out and then either take the female or the best of the two if they are both females but while they are vegging if they have to share 90 watts they are not gonna get that big.
I honestly would look into getting yourself a clone that you know is gonna be a female or fem seeds so you can begin to train it from very early with some LST or topping you could significantly increase your yield on that single plant alone
so I would highly suggest looking into..

1. Getting more wattage if possible (if you really want to veg out two plants in there)
2. Get minimum 3 gal pots
2. Make sure what you're growing is a female from seed or clone (so you dont waste time and effort)
3. look into Topping, LSTing or FIMing methods to increase your yield while keeping your plant within your growing dimensions

Hopefully this helps some :bigjoint:

Yes it really helped me out ! Thanks man I really appreciate it ! So I just found out that I am moving to a new apartment right down the hall. This new place is huge ! I'm stoked lol right now I'm using part of my already small closet to grow some personal. Now that I'm moving out of my one bedroom into a three bedroom I'm going to be investing my hard earned money into a 4x4 grow tent will supplement with a 400 watt Cree cxb3590 cob system and now am looking into diy hydroponics. There just so much to read on growing!! I've literally been reading easily 4 hours a day everyday for the past two months! I want to know as much about this as I can possibly sink into my thick skull !
