Smart pots vs squat smart pots

I currently have regular 100 gallon smart pots this year they came out with 100 gallon squat smat pots which are shorter and wider i was wondering if you guys thought it would be worth the investment?

Why not get a couple to test out? Seems like it would be a fun comparison.

I generally prefer depth over width given a choice

My gut says the shorter and wider ones would be better, because cannabis roots don't go very far down. Usually just to 2-3 feet downward and 2-3 feet outward. But in all honesty, most of my plants are 5'-6' tall. I would be curious to hear opinions from people who grow very large plants.

They would be a great investment. Most plants won't grow much wider than they're roots spread, so the wider the pot, the fatter your plants can get. I have a few type of areation containers and my shorter ones are my favorites and have the biggest plants consistently.

The plants in my squats are atleast 1 1/2 ft wider already....
