Rearrange and defoliation

To accommodate for the tallest of the bunch (3 KMA1 and 1 Kodama) I rearranged the tent so that they could have the most headroom.

I also defoliated the lowers for improved airflow, and still probably will have to go snip more in a week.

I also harvested my males and was able to get a decent amount of pollen off of all of them except one KMA1. There is a blue raspberry male that was especially resinous so I’m excited to use that on the best of tent.

Smoke Reports from Round 1
Now that I’m nearly done smoking most of my Round 1 I have a pretty good idea of each strain I ran last time. I did have watering issues so I’m sure that affected the results.

Uplift (Bodhi)
This is a lemony potpourri smell and for some reason it also reminds me of how Party City smells… weirdly specific memory.

Totally energetic effects that brought on paranoid thinking if smoked too much. I really don’t like smoking this one by itself.

Kush #4 x Snow Lotus
This smells like a sweet tennis ball to me.

Well balanced effects that has been an awesome smoke. Potent enough to make potheads stop at a single joint.

Granola Funk
Smells are a blend of iced tea, berries, and some musk. It’s actually really nice to the nose.

I really enjoy Granola Funk, pretty great weed that I used to cut some of the more energetic effects that the Uplift and Kush4xSL. Great at reducing anxiety and chilling out.

I actually really want to try all of these now. That uplift one sounds like something I might like. Usually when people say these sorts of things I find it's something I like haha.

I have yet to let someone try these and have them come back unimpressed. I think Uplift is still available on JBC

Pollination Time

Pretty sure I inadvertently pollinated my entire tent. I was going to just do some lower branches, but judging from the amount of pollen that didn't land on the buds I'm gonna have a number of strays.

There are seeds already being made on every plant, my guess is 10-20 per plant of some mystery pollen.

Learning curve is steep, but I'll have cuttings of everything rooted in a week or so.

Oh nooooo!! Haha. That's too bad but seeds are seeds. Sucks that they're not your intended cross but like you said learning experience.
Also just to throw it out there, my first time pollinating I got nervous that I didn't do it right because I couldn't see seeds, so I hit them again. Not my finest hour. So many seeds man. Sounds like you may have pollinated after they already were pollinated, so you might end up with plenty of seeds ;)

I'm surprised at how 'not mad' I am about this. I'll pass some of the mystery ones to some homies and see what comes out. Hoping to have a couple nugs not pollinated from each plant, but I'll settle for lightly pollinated at this point

Tent Update (3.5 wks flower)

Uniformity across cultivars:
BR: 4/5 are nearly identical in height with one being an outlier that stretched 4” more than the others. Smells are close to each other.

KMA1: Decent uniformity in structure, height ranging from 4.5’ to 6’. Similar smells across all of them.

SB: Practically the same plant just one is 3” taller.

Kodama: All over the place. I like the variety this brings, I have a 6’ tall plant and also a 3’ tall plant. Some look like fat Kush plants and others more sativa like. Smells range widely across the phenos.

Round 2 is looking much better. Whatever your doing different this time keep it up! Great improvement.
Thanks! I was just scrolling through the first run and cringing at how bad it got.

It's really down to watering on this run. My soil has a high EC and when I had dry pots last run it resulted in that ugly finish.
