Hi guys any good tips on keeping lovely females outside in the last phase of flower, but snow is coming in two weeks how to keep the snow away from them, wrap them up maybe ? what could i use to cover them ? My friend said I must covert up the soil with old blankets or cloth to keep the frost away from the roots and to keep the roots warm.

Depends on strain. Mazar i-Sharif is not even harvested in the region it is native too until January with snow on it. But they are making has with that. Cover the plants, not the ground. The ground will not freeze for a very long time. Frost comes straight down. Literally straight down. Build something to keep that from happening. A simple sturdy frame so it doesn't collapse. Tarps are good. A small light bulb (covered) will keep it from freezing. Of course the light bulb has to be in a socket and turned on before the yoyos start asking how that works.

PVC + some wood framing reinforcement. If you are into making the effort you can double up the exterior tarp and it will be insulated somewhat with some creativity. But just the tarp + frame will probably get you through if you have hardy genetics. Some plants do ok in that kind of weather near the end. It's a pretty versatile plant. Obviously it's not ideal.

If you have access to power it doesn't take that long to build a decent little green house and like I said you can insulate with multiple layers.

The big questions are, how many? How many feet wide? How long? How are they spaced? And im sure theres more but if you havent covered them with a greenhouse you fucked now. Cuttem all.

Also, there are ronson hand warmers (below) that work for 36 hours....if you can build a plastic enclosure to create a micro environment and use some ingenuity it might work. Might want to put anything using a flame in a small metal bucket.

Good luck.

I am in London i did check the weather forecast for the whole year from now and it seems like no frost :/ I shall take a picture of it later and upload it, its only 1 plant which is in the ground and its strain is blue cheese, I literally have 3 weeks to go.

Im thinking once you cover it with a homemade green house you need to support those branches as well. They will start breaking towards the end if it has no support

Build a small hoop house out of pvc pipe then tie the colas up to the frame then cover. A small heat source wouldn't hurt.
PS when you tie the colas up don't have them touching the frame or cover.

If you want something reusable, get that but it looks too small for your plant. If you start touching the edges of the tent, the plant will switch and leaves will die and it wont know where to go. A happy girl give you better sex, a happy plant gives you better product/yield.

What a bitch, was ready to take her down today 01/11/2015 and last night when fireworks was going off, I see a strange car across the road with some people in doing nothing, they came and chopped her down, perfect timing all those fireworks and all that fog, pissed.

That sucks, but most yard grows are discovered and ripped by timing.
Did they at least leave a trace for a taste of what you would have had ? It would be a painful smoke session but at least you would know how you did.
