Looks like I am upgrading my friends. A 400 watt HPS system with enclosed ballast, I will be getting this as soon as I receive my seeds. 45,000 lumens will be perfect for my grow area, with a couple cfls to add to it, I will be getting a very generous yield.

Yeah bro, I am debating actually, I am debating on a 250 watt hps or a 400 watt hps. I started another thread to get some opinions. 6 cubic feet.

Go with the 400 watt. For three plants you will get much better results. I have a 400 watt in a 10 sq foot closet and with I bought the 600 watt.

Man, I am torn with what to do. The situation I will run into is when summer comes around, it tends to get warm inside my home (upstairs duplex) towards the upper 80's. Obviously that is when the AC is not on. Which when I will be growing, I will keep my home at a nice comfortable temperature.

Are you guys are sure I can release all the heat from a 400 watt HPS through my vent setup? 4inch 80cfm traveling 1.5 ft ( w/ optional CPU fan fitted to boost strength)

Does anybody have some numbers they can throw at me, what ventilation they have with a 400 watt, room size, plant strains, plant size, reflection material, additional cfl's, seasonal temps inside the home, humidity levels year around, as much as possible...

I just want as much information as possible before I make my decision on monday.

On another note, lol I just finished re-arranging my bedroom randomly for no reason. Moving things, vacuuming, organizing.. And I am beat tired, and my back hurts (time to burn one).

Thanks for the input, JN811 you've been a big help so far bro.

What do others have to say? :bigjoint:

Well how many months are you planning on them growing in the pots?...

wow another page full of shit. Look man get the 400 watt. You're in the mid 60's you can get that shit to 85's and be smooth. If you're worried get an air cooled reflector or make a DIY cooltube.
