Yeah same bud without the heat especially in winter we screwed i might get a wee led to go along side my 600 at somepoint but i dont think il make a total switch anytime soon cos as u say u gotta heat it in lights off otherwise
Yea man, the bud density of LED is awesome but still get tight buds of proper HID grown weed. I’m just realising recently that super hard buds don’t burn as well in joints as dense buds. The overall structure plays a big part in how it smokes!

Not just that led aint the best for breeding under apparently some lines dont like it and it makes feminised reversals harder or yield less pollen ig some lines just so used to hps lighting after all that time growing under em i get dense buds under hps no problem too if its genetically dense it will be the best thing led got going for it as a back up imo is its got great spread its more even than hps that way

Interesting! Aye the spread is epic on LEDs. What temps do you get in your night cycle? Biggest reason I’m avoiding a photoperiod run is keeping them night temps up

I like autos they're a lot easier to maintain, but photos take too long, autos take around 3 cycles a year and smoke 18 hours a day, photos are good for breeding, there's a guy I have been watching, watched his girls grow from babies to big mamas, can't do it in my area, too many people too many problems, I'm more concerned of someone stealing them

Like 15 or 16c lately not ideal but nothing too bad but that will change cos we had frost last night and its getting colder obviously 10c or below totally slows growth completely im sure

Autos have their place... (outside)
I don't know why people grow them inside a tent.
I have run some Auto freebees and you could get the same or better yield from photos and use a lot less electric. A few photos 12/12 from seed
6 kw a day or 9 kw for Autos @18/6 .
Same time line +- 90dayso_O
It doesn't work that way, autos do not need more light than photos.
If the lights on time is increased from 12 hrs to 18, the wattage and PPFD need to be reduced by a third to maintain the same DLI, Daily Light Integral.
