Wow just WOW, its Nov and I just harvested my sour diesel, the Durban poison looks like it still has FOREVER!!!! WTF
When I got the clone's one was called Storm so I had no idea what it was except a sativa due to the size of the leafs. Definitely sour diesel!!!! Might be crossed with something but it has that sour diesel taste and smell. Funny how things work cuz I thought it was gonna be so so, I didn't care for the smell of it, in fact it was too strong of a smell like pine sol while flowering.
However a week or so before harvest I cut a cola off, WOW whatdouknow its better than all the other stuff!!! When dried it still smells a bit strong but the smoke taste great til ash and is very smooth and wow just wow the smell is unbelievably good while being smoked.

Now if only the Durban will surprise me, however I have my doubts....so far its pretty boo boo and the smell is somewhat mixxed fruity/catpissy smell and I have doubts its even a Durban from what I've heard about them.

That's a nice looking Diesel for sure. Durban or not that Sativa looks sweet and the smell you describe could be a good thing. Your right about the smell on the diesel. Very strong! Early mornings 3-5am was really bad. I like the diesel smoke. always been one of my favs.
Your plants are huge and beautifull. That Sativa will "surprise you" I believe.:weed:
The diesels we grew, and our Sativa still growing took along time to finish to. Could of let em go a little longer too. They diesels stunk bad.I think I still smell em outside.:-o

But back to your question :hump: Yes we still have stuff going and hope to have someting small going most of the winter.

Yeah thanks for the response,I just don't think this is normal and wonder what is causing them to go so late....The way the durban is going it might be christmas buds.

I will start harvesting the SR-71 Purple Kushes tomorrow. I have a shit-load of work ahead of me for sure. 4 plants and between 10-12 lbs to trim up. Going to be a long week.

HAHA thanks dude, yeah I am very happy with the Diesel. My only complaint is it got a little too big and I was not ready for it. It seemed to fall over on itself and was too big and bushy to really do anything. NOTE to SELF, Tie up Sativas really good because before you know it you won't be able to. Yes it stunk bad evey morning and sometimes at night I could smell it from the street!!!

I was also thinking of doing something small but wonder if they will even grow in the winter, are you going to use lights? I really want to throw some purp out there as I heard it does ok in cold but I really have no idea if it will work....btw im in NORCAL

Doh I love purple anything...lol

Are those purples Sativa or indica I couldn't find that strain? Seems awful late for any indica, heck I never thought i'd still have 2 sativa up in NOV but then again Im pretty new at growing and maybe this the norm? Did I do something to make these run so late? I really thought they wuld be done by now.

I have 5 Willie Nelson sativas that have 3-4 weeks to go. Frost usually isn't a problem until mid Dec. in the North Bay but I'm not sure about this year. And that wide window for thieves. This is a new one for me, I've never grown this late but the seed description did state a late November harvest, so it wasn't a surprise. Next year I'll choose varieties that finish sooner.

worst i've had was Black Label Master Kush - terrible plant - it went on almost into Dec and produced the worst bud i've ever grown.. loose, cragly nothing buds.. gave them all away for hash making..

I got a bit left, hanging in there through this cold.

Left is gdpxmk, right side is some sort of diesel I guess (smells like straight fuel)

Unsure what this is, got mislabeled and the cold climate is causing most the strains to grow a bit weird. Pretty sure its the sour grapes aka grape stomper.

Mystery seed received from a friend.

That purple plant looks alot like mine. I just chopped mine 11/9. It had 3 inches of snow on it when I took it. 110611 (11).jpg I dont' know what kind it is. It's bagseed.
