I just bought a 150 watt high pressure sodium bulb and now i need a ballast in order to get the light to fire up. Where can i find one for cheap? The ANSI Code is S55

I would pony up a few bucks for a new ballast with a warranty, it will last longer and be a lot safer. Check HTG supply.

i dunno if i have enough time for that, i was thinking about going back to lowes tonight and getting the 75w hps fixture that already comes with a bulb. Do you think i can pull it off with a 75 w hps???

its a different kind of light not like the grow lights you can buy,
lacking in the blue color temperature not bad but not the best

I think i need a different light though, at the moment im running that 300 watt ps25 bulb. i think it would probably be better if i get atleast a 75 watter to run until i can get a better one.

Hey can someone tell me if i can use just one 75w hps bulb with a florescent light or two to go with it, for just one plant? I dont think im gunna start anymore until i finish the first one. So i was wondering if it would work well with Two decent sized florescent lights and one 75w hps bulb? I meen its only for one plant, so do you think i will get a pretty good yeald just using that?
