So I have root rot. Now what? A series of questions.

My two plants, 5 weeks into veg, have quickly developed root rot over the last week or so and are wilting. It's my first time doing hydro (DWC). I'd like to try to save them. Here's what I've done so far:

Dumped the res, sterilized with bleach and scrubbed it, and replaced with strait RO water. I added 1qt of 3% h202 solution. No nutes added. Usually I use Sensi grow A+B which were at 1100ppm, PH between 5.3 - 6.
I have 8W of air being pumped into a 5 gallon res, so there's plenty of oxygen. I scrubbed and sanitized the air stones.

Question: Can I apply h202 directly to the roots? They're in dismal shape; I've found strands of dead root material floating in the res. THey've stopped growing entirely.
Also, can I apply antibacterial dish soap in the res?
Will foliar feeding help keep the plant alive temporarily?

The bottom leaves are wilting. Should I cut them? The root mass has shrunken and I doubt the roots can support the plant as it is now.

Don't cut the leaves as the plant will discard them alone. H2o2 cannot be poured into the roots, not even your skin so you have to mix a very diluted solution about 5ml/gallon. I'd flush daily and add a new batch of mixed H2o2 PH'd water. I don't know how bad the rot is but Hygrozyme works awesome in this cases as well and you don't risk root burn

I'll look into hygrozyme. In the mean time, I ordered a 5 pack of Greenhouse Seed's "colored" mix pack. By the time they've arrived I'll know whether or not my WW can be saved.
