Could always put something else in the trunk like pop/gaterade/water in a cooler...people won't think twice about someone getting pop out of a cooler.

You could also have pre rolled joints in a cigarette box, or a hidden one hitter/dugout in the car.

calls the cops. (which never happens)
the cops and the op are all on a high speed chace, trying to get the robbers. (unsafe driving no good)
