So I went to build an aeroponic system. I have all of my supplies except the pump, hydroton clayton? pebbles, and the rock wool cubes and the 3 inch nest pots. Does any one know where I can get that stuff online?

anyone with advice on where to get the rest of my supplies?

if you get 2" net pots then you don't need hydroton, in an aero system it just really stops you getting algae on the rockwool, it doesn't serve any other purpose.

I never need hydroton again now. Waste of money. Rockwool is the only disposable medium i use now. Wish I had learned this lesson way back when i started, would have saved quite a bit in rockwool fees

So if I get the 2" net pots I will not need the pebbles correct?

Thats right you only have to cover over the top of the net pot to prevent algae on the cube.

Anything that stops light getting through.

Panda film is pretty effective.

I think I will stick with the 3 inch pots and the pebbles. I just wish I could find them locally. So they are called Net pots right? I have been calling them Nest pots maybe that is why my local gardening store said that they did not have any. Also it is called Hydroton clay pebbles right?

Man i never take anything to the head, its cool to correct actually i encourage it, i want to get better in this hobby so naw its kool man ive might have just looked at the question the wrong way my badd
