So many questions, need help, first time

So I planted my see the last week and it has been growing pretty well up until now.
I have no soil in my grow. My grow medium consists of homemade charcoal powder, perlite, vermiculite, and two pads of cotton.
I put in on my windowsill with foil behind it to reflect more light onto it. It got warm to the touch recently and I noticed it leaning over. The majority of the stem is still straight and healthy but near the bottom is starting to look a little weird, thinning. This was also after watering it the night before. What is wrong?

I have more questions!
What is the maximum amount of time can a plant be exposed to light?
Is there a way to limit how big it gets and still have it flower? I'm trying to do a stealthy microgrow.
Is there a way to tell the kind of plant?

24hrs a day (veg only)
keep them in small containers. example-16oz solo cup
You probably mean sex? takes at least a few weeks unless feminized seeds were used.

roots + light = no no so do something about the clear container
you also need to bring the light closer or get a better one, not sure what you're using. You can bury most of that stem when you transplant

Thank you for the advice!
I've been using natural light so far but I'm going to move it into an enclosure soon. The enclosure has blue lights, red lights, and lined in foil.
What happens when roots meet light?
I'm running with the assumption that the size of the pot will affect the size of the plant but I don't know in what ratios. I don't want it to grow too big for the small space I have to work with. Is there a better way to control size?

Its way too wet. Your jar has no way for the moisture to drain out making it a bigger issue. You want it damp, not dripping wet.
Its leaning over because of a combination of moisture causing stem problems and not enough light causing it to stretch too much too support itself.
Zoom in on your first picture. The extended kink or dent in the stem is usually a sign of damping off from being too wet. Its not a single bend like if it fell over.
Ditch the clear container.
Fill dirt level up higher in your container next time, the top of your jar is blocking light from the plant so it tried to grow out of it faster.
From where you are now, you could add more around the stem and fill it up to right under the leaves on it. This is a common practice for stretched seedlings.
That seedling is likely going to die. Sorry.
