So maybe no root aphids. Then what's wrong?

so today I took my plant out of its bag and inspected the roots. They were huge but I did not see any traces of any bugs at all. So now I'm wondering why my plant is acting so weird.

Symptoms: for one month the bottom leaves have had necrosis and slowly dieing (pic attached)

Small fan leaves

Serrated edges sticking up on the leaves.

All symptoms of some root problem?

I just don't know anymore

Dude! There's nothing wrong.

Those bottom leaves are just giving up the ghost as they are the oldest and not getting any light down there. Your plants look great.

Just pinch them off so they don't go moldy or something and spread it around.

You are gonna end up killing your plant worrying about too much and then trying to fix imaginary problems. You are making this endeavor much harder then it needs to be. Relax, take a deep breath, and try to enjoy your hobby.
