So last week I was offered a job a Wal mart woohoo no not really. They send me for a drug test and they use e screen.
Yesterday I get a call from them some dude asking me some info about the info provided on the papers I was sent with.
Then I get this person claiming to be a nurse and after asking me my name age and company I was testing for she drops this bomb on me. " So when was the last time you used meth or crytal meth or maybe crack?" Ummmm I said kinda shocked I dont know I said seeing as I was never aware I started doing any of those let alone when the last time was. She then asks me if my Dr. gave me a script for something I never heard of so I headed to my pill stash. I said here is what I am on and b4 I could even get out the first med she says to me all rude and broken english no no no no I asked you if you were on Blah as I dont remeber its name. I said no I dont belive I am but I am on about 7 different meds. So she says to me ok we will report to the walmart that you tested positive for those drugs if I wana pay 150$ they will send the sample to another lab to be tested. To which I replied whatever and hung up.
After meeting with my Dr. I am on Meds for my ADHD that would result in a positive anphetmeans test on a drug screen but the nurse should have taken a list of the scripts I had to compair them.
So needless to say I have ADHD and now am labled a meth head and have no job offer from wal mart anymore. In a way I am kinda glad. I dont think I would have lasted long with a company that uses morons like that to base hiring on.
Just a warning if your on Meds talk to your Dr. b4 you test and know what you take and how it will show in screen. Every other drug screenI have had they have called me asked me for a list of what I was on and I have always passed this is the first time I was not only not asked but down right refused to beable to deffened why soemthing was in my system that had a script for.
Clearly I have some action I can take against them but I am not sue happy and frankly it will just be a waste of my time.
