Same shit different day.

I work in health care. If Romney wins, we'll have to wait and see what national rules are in place before we implement them and figure out what no longer is valid. If Obama wins we'll see hospitals buy up doctors offices and on salary they'll work less than they do now adding to the shortage. Either way, my job is pretty safe.

Over the next 20 years the richest generation in history will die off at a tune of 1Billion Americans. Health care will look totally different no matter the president. We simply won't be able to afford millions of dollars on people to extend their lives 6 months like we do today. Hospital corps and franchises are going to be the norm.

This is way to rational and well thought out. You need to hoard guns and bags of grain, drill your own well, and dig a bunker or something. This is not a thread for logic and reason.

Kill myself....

Not really. If Obama wins I am considering cancelling my cable TV subscription and just tuning out for a few years... I dont need the frustration of the Marxist in chief...

You do realize that IF Romney wins the presidency he will double down on the war on drugs? Not to mention that he is completely dedicated to ending legal medical cannabis. We already know, with his policies, he will devastate the economy AND ruin Foreign policy beyond fixing AND get us involved in a war with Iran. Meanwhile he is going to stiffen drug penalties and you can bet some of us will be incarcerated. This isn't fear mongering, it's what Romney has said out of his very own mouth. Which side of his mouth is anyone's guess, but still, out of his very own gob.

I realize that you are deluded into thinking the above.

If Obama gets elected by the time he is out of office if he is not impeached, we will be over 20 trillion dollars in debt on the way to greece with massive inflation of the dollar, lower standard of living, slow to no growth in the economy, etc. And that is not just what I think, it is shown by his budget plan and the way the economy has been slowing down year after year for the last 3 years in a row.

Romney has no governmental experience at all. Romney has made it pretty clear that he is against medical marijuana and for the "war on drugs". Paul Ryan has explicitly stated his intentions to eliminate $170B in Pell Grant funds, which will make it hard for working class Americans to afford college. Romney opposes gay marriage. He opposes a woman's right to choose to have an abortion, rather than bring another unwanted, disadvantaged child into the world. Oh and do tell us how Obama is responsible for ruining the economy. I'd love hear what you come up with. I could use a good laugh. The economy will likely stabilize on its own(at least to some extent), regardless of which president we elect . We're basically just electing the person who will take credit for it.

The tax increases that Obama keeps promising will cause a slowdown in the growth of the economy yet again. This is the slowest recovery in history and Obama isnt taking credit for any of the bad things that happen in his administration. He cant find the buck.

Could you elaborate on what you mean by "growth of the economy"? The tax increases are intended to support the growth of the American middle class (i.e. the majority; the group whose prosperity is the primary concern of the government) rather than the corporations whose reckless greed caused the current economic situation that you've erroneously attributed to Barack Obama.
Oh and, slowest recovery? Ever hear of the Great Depression?

Romney's own words are "If you elect me president, you aren't going to see legalized marijuana. I'm going to fight it tooth and nail". http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6lTbAI4sP0M after explaining that he believes medical marijuana is just a front to get it legalized, and a gateway drug. bleh

It is simple economics and the slowdown if all the tax increases are allowed to go into place is cited by the CBO (Congressional Budget Office).

Basically it works like this. When a business posts a PROFIT, that is the money that has not been spent on salaries, expenses, taxes, etc... That money is usually re-invested in the company in terms of capital purchases, hiring more people, advertising, etc. All of this is done to grow the company bigger to make more money. Simple right? Well, if a company makes 1 million dollar profit it has 1 million dollars to *grow*. If however the government comes in and raises taxes to the effect that the company only makes 500,000 dollars in profit than that company only has 500,000 to grow and expand.

So, by taxing the QUOTE rich UNQUOTE you are taxing businesses and individuals that put money into the economy. And thus you create a slow down in the growth of the economy. Less profit means less expansion, less jobs, less money to increase wages, etc.

You say it is reckless greed that caused the current economic situation and I say that political greed and ideology caused the government to manipulate the market causing a housing bubble and resulting crash. I am not blaming the crash on Obama, I am blaming the lack of recovery on Obama.

We are not out of this recession and in real danger of slipping back in... Dont get ahead of yourself.

Not in the next 4 years. However, he might not fuck with states rights and although he doesnt believe in it we might see the Fed's back off. Maybe not. However, Obama has proven that he has no problem lieing to the MMJ community then ignoring the memo Eric Holder wrote and busting MMJ businesses with impunity. I already know I wont see legalized marijuana under Obama... And that is fact.

He has to get re-elected and working towards legalizing herb his first term would sink those chances thanks to the ignorant masses of religious assholes. He's far more likely than Romney to do anything positive, especially since he won't be running again, but I agree he is a piece of shit busting dispensaries after saying he wouldn't. But again has to win over those idiots in the bible belt and elsewhere.

He had said on MANY occasions that medical marijuana is unnecessary and that it's just a gateway drug. He said that there are plenty of pharmaceuticals out there for people to use. He will cripple or completely end medical marijuana. No matter how you try to spin it or talk out the other side of HIS face you have to face the facts. It's in print and on video. It's a matter of public record. He wants to end marijuana use in the U.S. and to step up the war on drugs. What else would expect from a corporate overlord?
