soap and water spray

the leaves on my plant were getting fucked up by the bugs my friend told me to put a little bit of soap in a spray bottle and fill it with water than to spray it on the leaves will that harm my plant

yea its an old gardeners trick but im pretty sure you must use liquid dish soap, not handsoap. im sure a teaspoon of that and a bottle of water mixed could work, but make sure you spray before lights off so the drops on the leaves dont magnify the light n burn the leaves (if ur doin flourescents it shouldnt matter)

If you're flowering then don't bother with liquid soap, can cause mould and tastes nasty. Order some nice organic ladybird/ladybug larva or Lacewing larva from your local garden centre.. they like to chew it chew it.. bugs that is. In UK Ladybird Larvae (approx.30) Treats 5 sq.m costs £9.99. just google and you can have postal delivery too.
