anyone using soap nuts for the saponins in them ?

i make a extract that i add to my daily watering , acts as a wetting agent as well keeps the bags from repelling the water

Ah cool, thanks for sharing, fastslappy - I have some of those lying about, might as well look into using them for the plants... though the thought of just grinding them and adding them into a soilmix is tempting too..

So how do you extract, and how diluted is it when you give it to your plants?

Hot boiling water about ten or so berries seep in qt jar till coolenuff to handle repeat 3-4 times saving liquid ,i use with no regaurd to using too much , currently using a cup to a gallon ,great wetting agent ,would work in coco grows

Smash berries as they soak to release more of the mulesage sp? Slime from the nutz Add remains of berries to worms when not slippery they b spent
