soapy water/bugs

anyone used this method for a bug/black fly repellent??
noticed a couple o these pesky things on one of my 2 plants ggrrrr

have placed a jug of water with some washing up liquid in in grow room
or do i need to literally spray plant with solution

if anyone has tried this or anything else that works,advice would be appreciated

For flys I've always just used fly tape. For little critters I use tobacco water which I find more effective than soap. Just soak a couple cigarettes worth in warm cup of water, dillute, and foilar feed. Chewing tobacco works best and if you can find Bloodhound brand plug tobacco is my personal favorite.

u could allways just go and buy propper insecticide "pyrethium" or try smashing up some garlic and foliar feeding.if u have crawlers and shallow container full of beer works well ..its drowns them
