So,from everyones viewpoint here, where do you see human society going in the next 60 years?Do you think we may see any progress as far as person to person interaction would happen and how people perceive one another ?Or will we see a regression into classes of people as a hierarchy system would be?Will altruism be turned into a dismal shadow of itself in such time? All thoughts are welcomed,,though sincere honest answers are most appreciated,

...hey md, erm, dm!

...there's a cool thing about the internet that changes us in the next 60 years. At present, and because of language barriers and cultural variances, most people don't talk to each other. Mostly because people are afraid of ridicule - and / or shy. The online situation kind of takes that problem away because most people are mature enough to not slag someone's spelling and grammar (or overall delivery). Either way, that will permeate to 'real life' and people will be less afraid to be heard...and so on.

...I'll go yell outside now. It might still be echoing somewhere in 60 years :)

which society? contrary to the wet dreams of globalists and similar statist dupes, there isn't now and there never will be just one human society.

It's going to good places.. Remember when people used to own slaves and women couldn't vote? It's been getting better. We still have a crazy amount of room to improve though. We still have wars and judgment, but we're improving.

Society is going to hell. Everything that was once bad is now being accepted as ok. Kids are promiscous and dying from drug overdoses. New drugs are coming out every week, and the worlds nations are slowly turning against eachother. Basically, the world is turning into soddom and gamhorra.

the only people who think the world is going to hell, are Christian whites and old Christian whites, otherwise everyone else is chugging along just fine, even doing better. children are having sex at a younger age? bullshit, being more promiscuous? bullshit. humans are horny social animals, not as horny as a chimp but damn close. what do you expect? people have been fucking forever, its why we are here.

when were nations ever really at peace? everyone wants to stab eachother in the back and take their land in the long run anyways... atleast most capitalist and communist countries do.

Anonymity is a luxury vastly taken for granted, without this cloak many people would be forced to act right or be slugged in the face for being a jerkoff when it occurs, but if your honest to begin with and dont bother with a facade, respect will be given.Language barriers can be overcome its the part about giving a dam what someone thinks just because youre alive and present that needs to be dealt with by simply letting what dosent matter, slide.I hope your right about people gaining newfound confidence of communication, maybe the seperatism that divides humanity can be eroded enough one day so that most people will understand what it is that caused this divide in our species and be smart enough not to let it invite violence and misunderstandings while confronting those uncertainty's amongst ourselves.

Yeah you are totally right..everything was peachy up until this point,no wars..no diseases, political and religious conflict were unheard of and life expectancy during antiquity was way better than it is now. Oh yeah, and teenagers didnt have sex until modern times, spot on with that one as well :)

It's cyclical imo everything is cyclical it goes up and down good then bad and right now our society is in a freefall; we live in a nation or nations with rapidly deteriorating freedoms with citizens whom can't face the fact we are not the greatest nation in the world and are not forced to deal with the collective ignorance because they are the collective ignorant but this is optimistic I swear lol I believe the same force that causes humans to need each other -even babies are shown to need to be held as infants in ICU or just as infants in order to be healthy- that same force after we hit the bottom of this cycle will glue us all back together for a much better society.

I was speaking or asking about humanity as an entirety with my question Ice.
then the answer you get is going to be whatever it is you want to hear. the question itself is nearly meaningless. humanity is built of seemingly numberless different societies and even within what some consider single societies there are sub-groups that are heading in opposite directions. while most of humanity is heading toward a hive-like existence, there are many that insist on bucking that tide and their number is growing the more obvious the desired outcome of the mob's intentions becomes. if there is a tipping point at which the herd becomes impotent, their influence becomes moot. if not, the future looks grim indeed.

I was looking for an answer as to what the trend of our existential paradigm may currently portend as this could be any number of different scenarios. There are so many factors occuring within the influence of people that it remains impossible to determine any certain meaning,we only see cycles and patterns of what has occured in the past.I would like to think that there has to be a balance and that the hive-like trend will dissipate in the coming generations and that the mob-like factions will be the natural balance to a potential dystopia, even if it were that a dystopic society came to be it will not be long lived in any case,it only leads to dissent and then revolt.I like your input on the topic at any rate Ice.

Unless the dystopia becomes a "water empire". A ruling class that has absolute authority over a vital commodity has what it takes to keep that power indefinitely. cn
