SOG coco perpetual grow

I'm on my second SOG and I'm keeping it between 400 and 500 ppm. I check ph every other day or so but I did mess up on my ph down in my 3rd week. Went way to low for one feeding.

I didn't like the coco I used last time so I'm trying rockwool this time.

How often to you flood? I'm doing it just once a day right now. But I think some people do it 3x a day.

Also, I'm changing out nutes every three weeks. Should I do it more often?

My plan was/is: first three weeks 100% grow nutes -- second three weeks 50% grow, 50% bloom -- third three weeks 100% bloom -- to finish 100% Ripe -- then a few days of flush

Does that sound good?

I am in a 50/50 mix of coco and grow stone gs-2 now.
I feed 4 times a day, every 3 hours for 15 min, during lights on. I have been working up the feeding times over several months to see how they adjust. With the mix I'm running they like more frequent low ppm feedings as opposed to 2 or 3 high ppm feedings a week. I do not have experience with rockwool so would not have any experienced advice for you.

As far as nutes go, I use the same feeding from veg to flower. Dyna-Gro Foilage Pro and Dyna-Gro Protekt. As I get better I will experiment with different nute feedings but I use one level for all stages of growth in flower. Keeping it simple with feeding has given me by far the best results I have ever achieved.

I have changed my reservoir once in about 10 months. I just top off to keep ppm at 400 ish, sometimes a little lower or higher, I just kinda feel out what they want. My pH stays much more stable this way. I like a well established reservoir. It works for me but not for everyone.

A tool that has helped me tramendisly is the Method Seven glasses. It lets you see better under hps lighting. They are a little pricy but my grows improved after I got them.

I'm surprised how you stay at 400 ppm from beginning to end in the flower stage and with your good results...

That is only for that pheno with recirculation. I flower at 3-5" tall so they are tiny when they go in. When I vegged the same plant for several weeks DTW, they were using 600-700 and loving life.
I do not have any proof of why this happens, I just call it how I see it.

I have some THC Bombs in the same table as the Kalashnikov, the Bombs want more food so I need to separate them. This has taught me the importance of what it means when someone says "strain/pheno and environment dependant"
