Soil Drainage

hello all , my question today is how should i mix this soil for best drainage properties? I have General hydroponics Ancient Forest humus, and a bag of gardners Pride potting soil , and a bag of perlite, should it be maybe 60% perlite?

i go for about 25% perlight , just enough to make the soil feel lighter and crumble more easily...this works for me it may not be for everyone

so just 25%? i have tried before but it seems like my soil is compacted together kinda like wet dirt from outside

Good stuff but not likely. He can't even get it together with pre-packaged. Add peat or coco or bark mulch - any inert volume filler. They all add to drainage and all hold nutes and water for later use by your plant.

ill try the 25% since i cant seem to get it together
