lol first off I gotta say this. Can't believe I'm agreeing with tws right now BUT, all mg stuff isn't bad. I prefer not too use it unless I'm in a pinch for perlite like I said.

Now as too your $12 dollar bags of fox farms, they are only what, 2 cu ft? Go n mix your own base mix n it will be way cheaper n easier too come by. 3.8 cu ft bail of peatmoss, 13 bucks. 4cu ft perlite 13 bucks n 1 cu ft bag of vermiculite 7.50....mi it all and have over 60 gal of soil. That's light n fluffy. Now too make it even more add your blood n bone meal, etc. n u have added a lot more for way less than what it would cost for you too buy bags of fox farms at the equal ammount.
Shit....just add couple bags of mg soil too the made mix for like 6-7 bucks a piece n your even cheaper n just added all the nutes n stuff too the mix!
Growing your stash doesn't have too break the bank.

I agree there is many ways to skin the cat. I explained why I don't use MG. If you want to use it go ahead. I already agreed making your own soil web is the best solution. I agree with you on that. However I said for a beginner it's not always the easiest solution to go get different ingredients and mix them up. So if someone was looking for a quick solution I recommended Fox farms. Sure you can get all the stuff you mentioned and make a killer soil. I never disagreed with that. I simply laid out why I dont support MG and Scott's. But again you can use MG and get decent results if you know what you're doing. I just prefer to make my own soil or use a better company that hand makes their soil. I own my own restaurant and prefer to support small local companies rather than big conglomerates.

Ok. I will disclose my rebuttal later. Lol
Long story short and more debatable subjects.
Flushing is a myth and the cure needs to be proper if you grew in gold dust. Do you flush your vegetables? How do you flush soil or a 200 gallon hole in the ground ?
Synthetics are synthetics. The same thing the plant uptakes if it were organic just all ready broken down for uptake.
I doubt FF is hand made . And they use plenty of filler.
Monsanto sucks no doubt about it.
MG if you haven't noticed is stepping into the MJ market with products curtailed to growing weed.
One again. You do not end up with a inferior product growing in MG and you won't kill your worst enemy giving it to him.
I don't use it but if that's all you can afford or get it works just fine and will grow just as good of product as anything else.
