Soil getting rained on

Like a dummy i left out A TON of soil (in bags) in my backyard.... and out of nowhere it rained last night!

Am i stupid and is this totally okay?

Something about it seems like i fucked up... I'm going to go outside and put all the soil under a tarp but i'm worried that i fucked myself.

Much love for responses!

If some water gets in ..careful when you lift..I threw out my back big time thinking I was lifting a dry bag of soil.

dude , kind of a stupid question , do plants and trees grow out side ? let me answer that for you ,YES so why stress rain, if its to wet let it dry out a bit,

Yah thanks guys, I know it was a total stupid question... my mind just thought like "Wet soil... nothing to feed off it... get moldy because of it... i dunno"

I appreciate the feedback, i just took the time to move all my bags of soil inside my garage where they can stay happy and healthy until 4/20 rolls around and the outdoor gets-a-rollin :)

Much love!

Many home and garden centers leave their soil products out in the weather and we've all bought a bag or two that was too wet. Doesn't hurt anything.

Depends on the amount of water that entered the bags and if that water can easily leave the bags. What happens to poorly drained soil? Anaerobic bacterial growth. If you've ever bought bags of composted chicken or steer shit that have been rained on you'll know what I'm talking about.
