Soil is still the way to go!

It seems like alot of people now a days have huge problems with growing this weed we all love. Everybody starts off with high expectations and invest in elaborate hydroponics grow sets for their first grow thinking it produces a more potent smoke. Trust me if this is true then mother nature would have made marijuana a water lily potentiating the best environment for its survival. Weed grows in soil naturally. some of the top growers grow in soil. If you "brew" the proper soil mixture then you dont even have to use nutrient supplements till flowering thereby eliminating the possibility of "over loving" your plants to death. there are many highly inteligent horticulteralist types that have perfect soil mixtures to keep your plant highly successful throughout its life. keep this type of growing prominent because lets face it. its the best way!!

And the advantages to INSIDE Hydro are:

Not lugging in bags and bags of dirt nor am I looking for a place to get rid of dirt that has salt build up after each grow.

EVERYONE screws up once in a while and overferts. In hydro the flushing method is MUCH faster.

Explosive growth ( Notice...I didnt say BETTER...I said faster)

To each his own I guess.

My very first grow so I am sticking to soil and my plants so far are gorgeous! Only thing I am doing outside soil is a bubbleponics setup for clones that will be moved to soil when ready.

I'd like to get a few grows under my belt before looking at other stuff. I follow Uncle Ben's topping technique and all seems to be well so far!

Good organic dirt will serve you well!:blsmoke:

from start to finish how long does it take in soil, I grow using a drip system right now and I can get a harvest in no more than 90 days at the most. I know soil takes a little long but I wanted some insight on it before I tried my first grow in soil.

It doesn't take any longer in soil than hydro. You can flower right away or veg for awhile first.

DIRT all the way
hdro quicker
dirt more forgiving easier to correct your mistakes
i once saw a guy clean his roots off in toilet bowl replant and do fine
i think even hydro person should start with dirt to learn how to grow first
but they say knowledge of one gets in the way of the other
If you are new start with dirt unless you got money burning your pockets

may the grow gods smile upon your seeds
peace my brothers

You can't do better than god. I use %100 organic dirt. What sold me was seeing some Cannabis cup guys grow there entries in dirt. They said they do hydro all year, but to win the cup they only use dirt. I found that quite interesting.
