Solar Powered 730NM flower initiator

Im no electrician but, I have an idea for a project to run past some of you brainy types here.

I was looking for a way to make a simple flower initiator.

First I was thinking about a 12v source (or solar panel) with a capacitor and trying to figure out how many farads in capacitor would run... say 10 watts of LEDs for 5-10 min. That got me into how do I figure Farads to Mah then it dawned on me...

They sell them little solar cell phone chargers in all diff sorts of mah sizes.
Im thinking you could hook a string of 730nm LEDS up to one and place it in your room and it would charge when the lights were on and then keep running until it died when the lights cut off. You would just have to figure out how many watts you need to kill the battery in 10 mins. Im not sure if them things put out a constant current or voltage.

Any thoughts guys?

Ok
My thinking is back to a solar panel and super-capacitor. More recharges and no need to worry about overcharging.
