Soma Grow Beds in full Force!

If anyone out there has read Soma's book. And wondered how sweet the beds he designed are well i can personally attest to there value. Much time, money, and effort went into building my ultimate organic indoor grow room. I have two grow beds with 15 plants in each one. For lighting i went with 3 600W, 2 Ushio HPS, 1 SunMaster MH, i use the adjust-a-wing hoods, and quantum ballasts. Im switching out the MH for a 357 magnum LED this week. For ventilation i have a 4inch elison with organic air filter on it hooked directle into the rooms heat and ac vent. For exhaust i have a 6inch elison piped into a hole i cut in the ceiling leading to a Phresh carbon filter in the attic. Both inlines are fitted with Phresh duct silencers to keep the room nice and quiet. For soil i use a mixture of Canadian Peat moss, Roots Organic 707, guano, bloodmeal, greensand, perlite, earthworm castings, azos, mykos, mycorhizea. Fed with a steady regiment of Guano Teas from Budswell, fish emulsion, and Canna Bio Flores. So if your giving some thought into building one one these things feel free to ask questions. Peace! Oh by the way the two strains that you see in the pics the smaller ones are Soma's Somango and Heavy Duty Fruity from THseeds.Nice Shoot.jpglights and fans.jpgHDF fimmed and bent many times. 17 days.jpgSoma Grow Beds.jpgGrow Beds. Those pipes for air to the roots seem important. did you drill holes along the side of them? cap the bottom?

Nice set-up!

The Azos is good stuff and has a multitude of uses. i made a sludge out of it with a little water and rolled my cloning plugs in it. I put a little Azos and Mykos in my starting soil for seeds and vegging and you can see the Azos white fuzz growing on the outside of the little jiffy peat pots. So while i have used it a few time for a few things this is my first bloom having it in my soil and so far things look good as you can see above. Thanks for the rep, ill keep updating this thread with fresh pics on a real time line. I use hit three weeks into bloom yesterday so the best part is about to happen.
