alright so heres the deal i got a 4x4x8 space with a 400 watt cooltube. I just bought a can fan combo with 170 cfm fan.

so my main question is how would i vent my room right?

does having a direct ac hose blowing air into my room count as INTAKE?

What is the right way to exhaust both filter and light?

Any help is appreciated.

The idea is to vent the heat away from your grow space, so is it possible to vent it to another room? I have my exhaust blowing into a central heating vent that is never used.

You're 170 may or may not be powerful enough to do this, but I would pull the hot air off the ceiling, use it to cool the light, and blast it out of the space. Ceiling intake - cool tube - blower - exhaust

An A/C vent may be a good enough intake, but you'll have to experiment. :peace:

okay will i have to have my filter separate because i had two 110 cfm fans before the 170 cfm fan so i have like 390 Cfm total

I guess what i'm saying is what is the right way to hook up my filter?

Since i already had the cooltube hooked up do i just add the filter to it or should i have it tottaly separate from my cooltube?

170cfm extraction fan>cool tube>carbon filter and one of your other fans at the bottom of your box blowing air in for intake.

That's what I would do, the question is if there's still enough negative pressure in your box to draw the cool air in outside your box. If temps are consistently over 85 you'll need to figure something else out, just don't go cracking beans before you get this all sorted.

i already got 10 girls flowering i already have it all setup i just didnt know what was the right way to hook up my new filter since it got smelly in my room.
my temps never go higher than 80 with the ac on. I guess the best bet is to just experiment to see what works best, but i just dont want to go puttin more holes in my room if not needed to ya know and i really appreciate yall help.
