Steady now - I urge you to explore the joy of a single malt scotch, and a fine Nicaraguan figurado out in the warm sunshine. Lots of the drugs we talk about are pleasant, romantic, invigorating, blissful or joyful but never ever neglect the old standards.

Nicotine with the correct delivery system and a glass of taste enhanced ethyl alcohol deserves some serious respect.

I'm a tequila guy personally.
It's almost warm enough out for me to be able to smoke a cigar.

x2, i LOVE me a top shelf tequila. but pass on the stogie. quit smoking tobacco 5 years ago and will never go back.

i also have a 45+yr old bottle of captians table canadian whiskey my grandma smuggled in from canada back in the day. that stuff is smooth, yet will know your dick in the dirt after a 3 finger glass if not cautious. lol

I quit smoking cigarettes 18 years ago, it was only then that I came to realize what a wonderful drug it was. It all comes down to the delivery system, a slow gentle absorbtion through the membranes of the mouth imparts not only the muriad of toasty, earthy, nutty roasty flavors but a mellow sort of subtle bliss that one can find in no other way I have ever discovered (and believe me when I tell you that I have looked - and my quest continues).

And Barnbuster - I used to be a single malt snob, insisting that there really is no other way to consume one's ethyl alcohol but in the last year or so I have been experimenting with burbon and have found some that meet my snobby ecxpectations.

Yes, nicotine slowly absorbed through the mouth is far different from nicotine absorbed through the lungs.
I would love to have a really aged tequila. Anejo is usually only 3.

I smoked my first bowl long before I drank, and to this day I don't smoke tobacco. Nearly everyone else I know, though, that applies to.

And not to mention cigars are all natural if you're smoking a long filler, hand made product. Cigarettes have I don't even know how many added chemicals...100? 200? Bad shit if you ask me.

Nothing beats a quality cigar when I want to relax and let my troubles float away on a cloud of smoke.

What have you found that you liked? Right now I have Knob Creek, WhistlePig, Wild Turkey Kentucky Spirit and Woodford Reserve Seasoned Oak. I usually stay in the $50 range and treat myself to a better bottle occasionally. Hudson Baby Bourbon is said to have taste that Scotch drinkers enjoy. Never had it. There are several Bourbon forums that are worthwhile to join with truly experienced experts.

Never smoked tobacco at all, but watched a interesting YouTube showing a opening of a 60's box of Cubans and then read more about older Cubans. Very fascinating, had no idea the following existed.

Hydrocodone was my first. Good old Histussin HC
I hung with a guy long time ago who had a seemingly endless supply of hycodan..hycodon? and the triangular dexedrines. Not an unpleasant association for me as long as it lasted!

Also E, RE: Tequila. It was my understanding that it did not take to aging well? No research, just anecdotal. Never had much liking for it other than an occasional margarita.

Aged tequilas change a lot, they're more like a cognac or whiskey, they lose some of the bite of the agave. It's nothing like a blanco or a reposada.
