Some questions about Subcool's Super Soil.

After a good deal of problems with my first grow, Subcool's super soil recipe is looking really good about now. I just had a few questions about it.

8 large bags of high quality organic potting soil with coco and Mycorrhizae
25-50 lbs. of organic worm castings
5 lbs. of Blood meal 12-0-0
5 lbs. Bat guano 0-5-0
5 lbs. Fish Bone Meal 3-16-0
¾ cup Epsom salt
1 cup Sweet lime (Dolomite)
½ cup Azomite ( Trace element)
2 Tbs. powdered Humic acid
*** If using an RO system add in 1/2 cup powdered Cal/mag

The recipe quantities is for huge for what I'l be doing. I grow under one 1000 watt HID, in 5gal grow bags, planning to do 6 plants under the light. So If the bottom half of each finishing pot should be super soil, should I be aiming to make a total 15 gal of the mix? If I have extra left over, could it possibly still be good for the next crop about 3 months later?

Also in the recipe he says to bake it in the sun for 30 days before using. I can let it sit no problem but it's the middle of a very cold and snowy winter here, how important is the baking part? I could keep it on the side of plants under the HID if that would work.

Ok last question for the organic potting mix soil, what size bag is he referring to? I'm guessing the 1.5cu ft but might as well ask

Thank you for any answers, I love finding out more about growing this beautiful plant, just with everything new I learn I end up with 5 more questions.

yes the soil will be fine if not better over time...soil will not go bad or lose its "potency". bags are 1.5, your soil will cook just fine in temps above 75 or so degrees, so your grow room would be perfect till warmer weather rolls around...hope this helps, g.p..................

If you follow the recipe you end up with 90+ gallons of super soil, and it accounts for only 1/2 of what you use in a pot. It keeps well in a garbage can, and Sub just mixes batches and uses it when he needs it. I heard you should be careful to not over water because you could loose too many nutes and get some weird deficiencies.
