Some quick questions about flushing

70-80% of the hairs on my buds are orange/amber with the others still white.

but my trichs are still clear. should i start my flush now and hope that in two weeks my trichs will be cloudy/amber or should i wait for them to start turning then flush?

I'm at the exact same point and would also like to know this. I'm guessing that since the cycle is suppose to be about eight weeks, if you're in week 6 or starting 7 like I am, you should start the flushing. What you're trying to do (at least as far as I understand) is harvest when you get about 15% amber. If you see "some" now,..by the end of the flushing period (couple weeks) you should have perfect timing. Does this seem logical?

Might wait and see if anyone can give specific guidelines on this Impulse. Don't do anything on "Impulse" now. I've about jumped the gun too, but something tells me to wait. Can anyone give the specific break down on flushing?

Same question here. At 47 days currently and just getting the changing of the hair color and have yet to get the scope to check out the tri's. Help anyone?

ya its totally tough to tell with just looking at the hairs as some plants change their hairs versus tri's at different times. just wait until tri's are about 50/50 brown to cloudy then they should only take about 4 days with hydro to flush and a ratio of about 40/60 (40% brown 60% cloudy) for soil and that should take about a week to a week and a half for flushing. a good rule is to take a leaf and taste the liquid from the stem if it tastes like clean water you are flushed if not then wait another day and so on.
