And he's trespassing and hunting on your property. I would watch the neighbor hood kids though. who else would take a bunch of leaf ? no trail to follow ?

I am fuming, I am so heated. They left some of the plants untouched, right next to plants that they killed. They took all of the plants they killed, I can't find them anywhere. The plants were at the end of Veg, with 2 months to harvest. It was either a kid, or a know nothing hunter. I am guessing it was a hunter. Say goodbye to all your tree stands that I found back there.
Are you sure they were chopped and not eaten?

Definitey chopped, the cuts are very clean. Looks like a machette chopped them.

Where I am growing is so dense, and so swampy there is no way he saw them from a distance. The grasses around the plants are just as tall as the plants. I can't even see the plants from 30 feet away and I know where they are. Somebody stumbled upon these while walking in the woods. Some hunter way off course is my guess. Or a hunter surveying the grassy swamp for hunting season in a few months. I am taking a chain saw to their bridges and tree stands. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

You didn't get this idea from me, drywall screws.

And if a hunter steps on it, you could be sued even though it's your land:

Any recomendations on how to beef up security. Rippers make no sense. Do they think they are doing it for a good cause?
keeping a dog as a security might help,u can also put fence around grow area.Barbed wire around the wall of ur compound might also work fine.Hope this helps.

Yep, should have kept them closer. Wanted cameras, but had no money. Should have hung signs. Can't have a dog, would love to, but can't. Feel incredibly violated. There was no reason to cut half of my plants. Takes a total loser to do something like that.

Hopefully it wasn't the Sheriff taking half the plants as evidence, coming back later equipped with a warrant...

close wont always help! had mine like 50 ft from my house and they got ripped last year.... although I'm almost positive I know who did it, my buddy who I think spotted them while taking a piss! so needless to say my backyard isn't even a possibility for me anymore! ugghhh!

Anybody recommending or using booby traps of any kind to "protect" their plants is being an asshole. Your plants will not be protected by such means and if Johnny Law finds them he loves to publicize such findings to promote the image of "evil marijuanana growers".

It doesn't matter who stole your plants; the area is now compromised and they will be back next year for sure. It is also a pretty good bet that more than one person knows what you are doing.
