Someone has to do it -- Master of seeds

Spanish seedbank, newly opened, but appears to be a subsidiary of a well known head shop type of site in Spain. They ship to the US, and the prices are very attractive.

This is totally out of character for me, I am typically very careful about what I purchase and where but I feel adventurous.

I will let you know how it works out.

Well, does not look like I will be the guinea pig after all, the site needs some major work. Not sure if I want to take the risk with as many errors and problems I had arise during the selection process.

Yup, I checked it out too, def alot of problems they have to iron out. It kept switching languages on me, pricing was all messed up and would change. Hope they get all fixed and someone gives a report on ordering from them.

Prices were great though!

^^ Best I can tell, their parent company has been in biz in Spain for several years with a good rating. Once they get things fixed, might very well be a good place to order from. Time will tell.

I actually have a pending order at Master of Seeds, but the credit card did not go through for some odd reason. So I asked about another method of payment, and they said cash, Western Union, or Money Gram. I told them I didn't care to send cash but asked about Western Union. No response back so I can only assume they don't want my business. Oh well!

Thats a great way to start a new business. They will have plenty of return customers and take over the industry with customer service like that.

that sucks brother, either way, just give good ole reliable herbie a jingle. At least u kniw u will get your beans!

Update: Against my better judgment, I placed an order. I really only did so because (1) the prices were too good to pass up (hint for me?) and (2) the parent company seems really legit. The site needs alot of work still, and when I ordered (late July) CC was not accepted though they said it was. Seems they are new to shipping to US so they have some kinks to work out there. So I paid with another method.

I received an email stating my gear shipped on July 25. As 8/08/13, still no gear. This will be coming from Valencia, Spain to the US. However, the contact I have with MoS is still answering my emails, so I will give it some time. It was sent via regular mail all the way, so no tracking...I will give it a few more days to see if my gear gets to me. Hopefully it will.

Right now, I cannot recommend them. Too many issues, slow delivery. If my gear comes, I will update my impression of them, but still won't be able to recommend due to the slow delivery times.

I don't know how you did it. I was just browsing their site and kept getting booted, have to try again another time I guess.

Got my package today! Yes, it was a long time from date of shipment to receipt, but they used regular mail all the way. Didn't even have a customs sticker on it proclaiming the contents. I will not describe the stealth packaging used, but it is hands down the best I've seen, but that's based on orders from Attitude, Herbie's, and Alibongo.

The one thing that worries me, however, is that the seeds were all removed from breeders packs AND the seeds all look roughly the same size and color. I guess time will tell if I got what I paid for, I hope so...

So until I actually pop some seeds, I will hold off on rating this new seed bank. Based on my experience thus far, I would say

Pros:
1) Price! Very good prices, lowest you will likely find
2) Good customer service. They kept in touch with me and helped work out the order, and different payment methods since their CC service was not working for US customers at the time.
3) Excellent stealth

Cons:
1) Not enough delivery options, so you could wait for a bit to get packages
2) Credit card system did not seem to work for US customers, could be fixed by now
3) Stealth requires removal from breeders packs. Herbies does this too, but I've not had any issues with them yet (have not tried SoS yet)
4) Website has all sorts of issues, made it hard to complete an order

Glad to see you got your order, finally.

I have been trying to order from them since mid July - a cannabis variety that is not readily available elsewhere. Three attempts using CC, no joy. Sent them emails which they replied back to and said I could pay via PayPal... but each time quoted me a different price that was at least THREE TIMES what my order total was at 'checkout' on the site.

Weird. Why would I pay three times the final checkout price???

I finally thanked their support person (Edge) for his replies. But that I would have to pass -- just too many glitches and uncertainties on price and product for me to complete a "first-ever order" with them. Prices LOOK great. But PRICE isn't everything.

I will be very interested to see how your seeds evolve into live plants -- that will be the proof that you got or did not get what you paid for. I hope you did.

So many issues:

1. They can't process credit cards from north america. tried more than one. had to send cash which is risky and slows the process down.

2.) They don't update their product availability. About a month after they marked my payment as received, they emailed me to tell me the seeds were not available. I gave them a second preference; it wasn't available either. Had to settle for something I didn't even really want. This was weeks ago, and they still advertise both those strains as being available. You won't know what's actually available until after they have your money.

The seeds they actually had weren't really of interest to me. If the seeds ever arrive, they're just going to be thrown into the pile of ones that probably won't ever be used. At this point, it's just wasted time and money.

The customer service was kind and great about maintaining written communication though.

Has anyone popped any seeds from these guys? Their prices are pretty good, but it would be good to see if they're selling good seeds and not bunk.

I was wanting to get dutch passion BAM from them. Has anyone ordered and seen proof of gentic traits and from the actual breeder? or does anyone think they are selling knockoffs.

When you visit some smaller seed vendor and find cheap prices it can be due to them buying other stores stock for reasons such as going out of business, cash flow, ect. For example they only have one Mr Nice strain.., they have only a fraction of Kanabia seeds which is out of Spain too. Growshop Alien also falls into this category It is basically a outlet store.. maybe not for every seed breeder but at least for the ones that have spotty selection. Growshop Alien in Amsterdam is or used to be same thing ( ordered and got what I paid for). It can be a good deal but you risk buying older seeds.

I tried real hard to place an order with them. The website says PayPal accepted. In reality that is a lie, they do not accept PayPal. Website says Master Card accepted. Again a lie. They said there bank has trouble processing USA credit card for some reason. No problem I said I would send them the money via Western Union. They told me they have trouble with Western Union. What legitemate company has trouble with Western Union? They finally said to send them money via Money Gram. And oh by the way I would need to sent it to a person not a business since money gram was for personal use only. I told them to forget it I would take my business back to good old reliable Herbies.
