someone please explain how to take proper cutting for clones!

ok... hopefully someone can explain descriptive or show by using pictures! but just as the title says.. I currently have my last female big bud 2 weeks into 12/12 which it has show its sex and I wanted to attempt to take cutting from her before its to late! however there are a few things that I need cleared up before doing so! I have looked through a lot of the tutorials on this site which most have been helpful, although I'm just not exactly where all I can take cutting from? can I take these cutting from each node or just the main cola of the plant? secondly, after I take my cutting what do I do with the present mother... I mean seeming that she will be all cut up and missing parts will she re veg herslelf once shes back on 24hrs? someone please help.. as I'm just not sure where all I can take my cutting!!

Any branch wit 2 - 3 nodes is okay.

Cut the branch at a 45 degree angle, put it immediately in water, cut again at 45 degrees under water... dip in rooting gel for 2 mins... and put it in moist soil..

Goodluck even though it's never advisable to clone a flowering plant.

yes your mother can be re veged and there are some pics on my journal page one thing i do differently is i just dip it in and then plant it in a jiffy pot.also with taking a clone when your plant is flowering it might take a bit longer to get roots also it may look like it is abit deformed before looking like a normal plant again

another question for everyone.. since I'm already 2 weeks into flower and I know for sure its female.. should I put her back into veg and then takke clones after I notice new growth or should I take my cuttings now and then put it in veg?

just take them theyll be fine just a slighty larger margin of error leave the mothers in theyre stage just make about 2 times the clones that way if some fail you still have plenty

and yes put the clones into veg

2 weeks into flower isnt a big deal but Big Bud is one of the harder strains to clone.
