I'm just playin. I need to know where do you get your water supply? Also your ph, oh and is that a hydro bucket? Or did you just use tin foil for reflection? If so, what soil?

All I know is... I don't even trust my wife near my plants when I'm not home.. I don't even want her looking at my shrooms.. And I'll be dammed if god or whoever convinces me other-whys

lol ok cool. i recently had to change my water supply to some crap. from a grocery store called "Joe v's"it said carbon filtered but was 47¢ a gallon. awefully cheap..
before i used walmarts drinking water which is RO.
70¢ per gallon.
My Ph varys from a range of 5.8 to 6.4-5. i try to keep it at 5.8 but have been having swings after nute change. even days after..atleast ever since ibegan using that water. im using Fox F. GB Hydro.

im like uhhhh "sure" lately i have been saying no. *-*
but im gone off to work for long periods and she is basically kickin it at the crib. i get paranoid sometimes.

I gotchu bruh. You do know that Drinking water has minerals added for flavor, and higher sodium than you want. Tap water would be more likely to contain calcium and magnesium and lower sodium. Plants need Ca and Mg.
Your pH sounds decent; using tap water will help keep it that way trust me. And when you get the chance, switch to soil. There's nothing that says home grown than mother nature showing her tits

I know nothing of soil growing it seems to conplex...

tap water? my tap's ppm is unbelievably high.

Hydro is more time consuming especially for guys like us that have to work. It needs to be checked up on like a little baby. I've seen ph sky rocket and torch the plant in an hour flat. Soil would never do that to us. Plant-water-chill. It grows itself in soil. I'm always gone which is why I switched and YES!! Tap water just make sure to test the ph before you go doing anything regretful

Well if your roots are white your ok. Get your ppm meter calibrated. You could be starving them or burning them, ppm meters are like the most important tool for your hydro and yes you should always use calmag with cannabis. I used calmagic in my dwc. If your using ro water then theres no trace elements like cal and mag in there for free. One drop a litre for calmagic. Is this your first grow?

Im getting a 400w ball. and cool tube tomorrow, and im planning on adding a scrog net as soon as its a 1' tall.
right now its only about 4-5" tall. Will be using a "buckethead" from home depot to fill/drain buckets for reservoir change outs.

You should slow down grasshopper... Succeed in your first grow and then some.. THEN the force will be strong enough to scrog with this one.... It shall!

Hydro is simple especially dwc. You NEED a ppm meter though, NOW. Its your eyes into your plant. PH impo doesnt mean shit unless its way outta whack, like higher than 9. Remember this. Nothing will go wrong unless your ppm is fd up. This is my "first grow", it doesnt have to suck just cause its your first grow. Is that a bucket its in? Is it dwc? If it is i hope thats a strong lid. One of mine broke and the whole plant fell in the water lol heres some stats on my dwc grow. Veg w LED, bloom w 600hps, AN sensi A&B the old stuff not the ph perfect, calmag, superthrive. Thats all that ever went in there. No ph down ever. Tap ph 6, with nutes 6, after 15ish days 7, who cares? AN sensi is buffered to ph at 6. As simple as i could get it and thats how i wanted my first grow to be. I have a friend whose water is at 8 ph to start and it hits 9 before he changes it out. His plants are bigger than mine. PM me if you have questions ever, ill gladly help, im out for the night though. Ppm meter, calmag, get em :):):)
