Something is wrong, look at these pics!

Hey guys,

I have no idea what the heck I did but take a look at these pics. I had spider mites, but like only 1 or 2 per leaf on the lower leaves, so I sprayed with dr.doom (pyrtherine) and they dissappeared. Now I sprayed them good, they were dripping in it. That was last friday, I sprayed them again on wensday just to be sure. No damage at all. So I was going to go spray one last time tonight and I still can't find any spiders but look at these pics. It can't be nutrient burn because they only got half a dose once every 3 waterings. I'm thinking maybe because of the pyrtherine but it's been 4 days since I last sprayed it. My water sits for a few days to get to room temp and let everything disolve, I don't know what I'm doing wrong here. Are these mites just really good at hiding? Like I can't find any under a 40X microscope.

Thanks in advance for reading and replying

So I just checked the PH and it's at 6.5 and I checked again under a 40X microscope, for like 20 minutes now and the only thing odd that I see are there are some tiny tiny, what look like logs of black shit on it. I'm assuming that's the pyrtherine, it definatly dosn't move, and when I looked at a mite with the scope before the mite looked so big that I could clearly see each and every one of its legs, so it's definatly not mites, unless they hide everytime I check on my girls.

I'd say it was Dr. Doom man because the edges of the leaves are drying out. I noticed that you had a couple of spots right on the leaves, which might be the mights, but for the most part, I think 2 servings of the doom may be plenty. Let 'em breath for a couple of days and see. That's all you can do, right? Sounds like the nute situation isn't even close to causing a problem as long as you're not flooding them every 4th watering.

ya, I'll try spritzing them tommorow to try to wash some of that stuff off, and the plants arn't doing too bad, but I like things to be perfect and learnt the hard way these questions are best asked at the first sign of trouble rather than once its out of control.

I've burned leaf edges before with Doktor Doom as well. Make sure the lights are off and don't spray too close to the leaves. If you get bug issues, start with something more mild, insecticidal soap and neem oil are good products. Spray weekly with soap for prevention and you can usually keep bugs at a minimum.

Ya I really thought it was going to be a big problem so I sprayed 6 plants with 1 bottle of dr.doom. Every leaf was dripping with it. I kinda thought all the plants would die overnight and I'd bleach and start fresh. Instead it killed every bug and the plants seemed fine, till just recently. Did you have any issues with stunting or anything like that? I have 4 plants 3 weeks into flowering, are they going to be stunted or did yours recover right away?
