Sonic Bloom Growers

Heres a place for those pot growers who use Sonic Bloom music/nutrients to enhance their crops. Sonic Bloom to an amateur may sound like a gimmick, but the results are proven. Sonic Bloom involves playing a sound frequency for your plants and can be used either indoor or outdoor. The other part to make your plants Sonic Bloom is the organic seaweed-based nutrient spray.

Here's an article to sum up What Is Sonic Bloom? http://www.rainbowminerals.net/sonic_bloom_article1.htm

Start typing below and keep your plants rockin in the free world! I can answer most questions, I've been practicing Sonic Bloom for 3 years!

Great topic
Can you talk more about your specific sonic bloom protocol for cannabis?

Here's a few questions:
-Do you begin by soaking your seeds in a dilute sonic bloom solution over night while playing the sound?
-How often did you spray during the vegetative cycle?
-Did you continue to spray during flowering?
-Do you play the sound even on days when you do not spray?

-Have you intentionally made seeds from sonic bloom treated plants? I've read that each generation the seed stock gets stronger, bigger and better?
-Same with clones, have you noticed the cuttings of sonic bloom treated plants to be superior?

thanks

Raishi,

Yes I've seen my clones become stronger, with more successful cuttings compared to plants I haven't treated with Sonic Bloom. Also they bounce right back and produce fan leaves with 7 fingers almost right away, this is after several generations.

Here's a quick growing guide if you're just starting out. I do have more detailed treads on RIU if you want to search for those.

Seeds - 10 Drops of SB per 8 oz. of water
Seedings / Cuttings- You really want to lay off the Sonic Bloom if your seedlings haven't rooted yet, after they have, spray 10 drops of SB per 8 oz of water every other day
Vegging / Transition / Bloom - Once your plants start taking off, they can handle 20 Drops of SB per 8 oz of water every other day.
Final Stage - Its probably best not to foliar spray within the last 10 days of harvest.

I play the music for them every day even when I don't spray. I like to turn the volume up a couple hours before I plan on spraying. Also I add some Sonic Bloom into my res, but not much because the stuff to me is pricey.

Great info, thanks for the tips.

the amount of evidence proving sonic-bloom's efficacy is vast, solid and covers a broad range plants, trees and flowers. I mean there is video after video of solid examples, on the website.

It's seems to have been around a very long time...and even today it is relatively obscure.

You appear to be having success with it and I would like to follow more of your grows.

Are there any risks to using it with cannabis in terms of influencing sex and or seed production?

The inventor shows many examples of plants treated with sonic-bloom to have very very rapid growth rates ...I would like to see how it can be applied to an auto-flower or a 60 day strain.

i mean if he can grow a black walnut tree in 15 years instead of 25 years, maybe we can shave a few weeks off a fast finishing cannabis variety.

Imagine, seed to harvest in 30 days?

He also shows , in numerous cases, seeds from trees grown with sonic bloom are larger and perform better than the previous generation.

I'd do the grow in a sound proof cabinet or room. So I could play the oscillating sound at a very high volume...the inventor showed that, the smallest plants were the ones farthest from the sound.

I'd use it during germination, veg and maybe the very beginning of flowering.

I would like to see the effect of using it aggressively on females that one is growing an extra 2-3weeks for the purpose of producing bananas and/or female seeds...like, finish the plant at 8-10 weeks and leaving a few small bottom buds on the plant and then initiating a protocol of sonic bloom directly on the buds for a couple weeks.

Anyways, i'm beginning to ramble...I really like this topic though.

Ramble away, my friend! I'm going to do a little rambling myself, hopefully answering some of your questions along the way.

I love discussing Sonic Bloom, the idea is so simple yet makes so much sense; plants are affected by sound waves as much as the wind, sun, and water! Sound is a significant part of the plant's environment. Plants have evolved to the conditions that nature has provided. In a rain forest conditions are optimal for plants, but not just plants, also birds and insects! So not only does a plant benefit from other aspects of the birds and insects being there, but the chirps and crickets they make are also benefiting the plants!

The inventor of Sonic Bloom described it this way, early in the morning in the rain forest, dew settles on the leaves that contains water and particles of dust from the air. The bird start chirping at early sun rise, which stimulates the stomata (little pores) on the leaves. Then the plants absorb the water and nutrients directly through the leaves, instead of only through the root system. That is why plants grow so vigorously in the rain forest.

Now let me throw in there that bird and insect populations are down, many species are extinct, so what's a plant to do?

That's where the Sonic Bloom sound system/ foliar spray comes in. There are two ways you can utilize Sonic Bloom; either indoor or outdoor.

The outdoor unit is a speaker box that plays only the Sonic Bloom frequency. It has a light sensor on it, which is like an on/off switch, and volume control. One speaker can affect the plants from 1/5th acre, up to 5 acres. Hook up the speaker to a timer that's set to play 2 hours when the sun rises, and 2 hours when the sun sets.

For an indoor system, they provide a CD which plays classical music and has the Sonic Bloom frequency embedded. I downloaded the tracks onto an iPod and have it playing on a speaker dock which plays when the lights are on. So if you enjoy classical music, don't worry about a sound proof box, just have your lights on during the day. Also the music doesn't have to be blaring, the only time the music should be turned up is during the hours before and after you foliar spray. That's when you let your plants "rock out!"

So obviously guerrilla growers might not be able to use Sonic Bloom because of the noise. I only grow fruits and veggies outdoors, so I do explain to my neighbors if they hear the noise from the Sonic Bloom, its for my vegetable garden! Indoors, you have to be careful if you live in an apartment or duplex, because if you have thin walls, playing the music too loud can be a nuisance.

Benefits that I have seen from the Sonic Bloom; 8-foot tall tomato plants growing well into November, tomatoes weighing over 1.5 pounds each. Apple tree still has green leaves in mid-December. Plants able to withstand drought, over-watering, and terrible soil conditions. One dwarf grapefruit tree I planted last year was being used as a bathroom by several cats, but it still lived and is bouncing back. The leaves all turned yellow, except for a few branches that happened to be closed to the Sonic Bloom speaker.

That's it for now, more to follow including pictures!

View attachment 1356334Here's my SB playing, next to a CO2 meter, and a rosemary plant. This little guy started as a cutting in a shot glass of water placed next to the SB, a week later, holy roots, Batman!

Not any comments yet. So I guess you're waiting for more pics! Back to the "unanimous spot" lol. The indoor plants have been vegging for 2 months, and are so damn bushy that they need a good pruning before going into bloom.

This GDP is my first child, and its great great great great grand daddy received SB and all generations since. This strain has survived through many tragedies; caterpillars, mites. And it is my strongest of all my plants and the best example of SB used on pot known on the net! It will be front and center in this grow.

Excellent photos dub!

The GDP, is that from multiple generations of clones or multiple generations of seeds?

I really appreciate the work you're doing with sonic bloom.

best, reishi

intresting to see you using AIR-POTS, i'm about to start using them here in the u.k. they mft them in Scotland you know;

re sonic bloom, for clones, i use two drops of sonic bloom in 100ml of filtered water , and drench every other day with a fine sprayer, this keeps them going and does'nt burn the clones, when i have mastered how to take pics with digi camera and post. i will leave some pics of my effort's.

plastic air pots, they work well to give the babies a base so they don't tip over in the ebb-n-flow system.

that is interesting, are you talking about rooted clones? I have burned my cuttings everytime using about 4 drops per 100 ml (see I converted that for you!)

that is correct, two drops and no more! but i dont keep them in a heated condition, there kept in a cool enviroment with natural light only, not under any artificial light.
but i do use an unheated propagater.

Some guy posted on another forum that the Sonic Bloom foliar spray contains an acid or something that is harmful to cannabis, he said he read it on their website but I couldn't find any such mention ANYWHERE on their site. This had me worried to try it but obviously it works, how much more yield do you get or better yet dose anyone have any comparisons/pics of harvests before using SB and after? Also, did you notice any taste difference, better or worse?
I also just found out about solar root stimulators and I had a couple small solar panels so I made one of my own, the theory behind it is if your growing in low light conditions the plant/roots will use the energy from the small current produced in place of light for photosynthesis, its actually been proven to be beneficial but only where there isn't enough light as when plants have an abundance of light the solar root stimulators were of little benefit. Ive only been using it for three days now and only on one plant so the results won't be very conclusive, I'll pots a thread about it if I notice something worth discussing so until then we'll see how it goes.

(Pics are of my two baby girls, small one on left is White Widow, bigger one on right is an unknown Indica Purples of some kind that I believe who I got it from called it "Grapes" but neither him or I can remember for sure, lol, obviously one on right has the solar root stimulator)
