They have been giving out testers of that strain for about 7 months. They tested it themselves prior. They test a strain for a while. Then hand out testers for a year. wait for feed back before they add it to their line.

Oh I didnt know they had been handing it out as testers is all, remeber him saying when they announced the first promo for 420 that they were not going to release this strain and that they were just giving seeds away as a promo. guess they must have gotten pretty good feedback if they are still making seeds of it

They have about 20 or so testers they are giving out at the moment. you get a tester for each pack of seeds you buy. Of course this is at cannabis cup, hemp con, hemp festival, chalice, dispensaries, etc... Places you can pick up seeds in person. I don't think they have any control over what seed banks give away as freebies or to a point at least.

It will probably be added to their line eventually. I've had testers that don't make it at all. I assumed dire wolf was not going to be released. I talked to Odie about it at Chalice. He told me that one was not being released. Mo picked up testers of brianberry cough like 6 months ago. It was recently ( a couple months ago) added to their line.

Sub said this a couple days ago

"Despite a few interesting recessive traits which were quite neat actually. This might be one of the most amazing crosses I have worked. A stunning bouquet of cherry snowcone, rock candy and cotton candy. Very heavy oil presence and outstanding trichome development very early in. The flower development was very kush with Cinderella odor later turning to Romulan pungency with a touch of cherry. The recessive traits were small but added character. Rosettes of sugar leaves forming small colas with no stamens of seed pods. Mutations in leaf development such as extra blades growing from main blades. Quite a unique plant and one my new all time faves. I have this growing along with Agent Orange, Brian Berry Cough, Jilly Bean, Conspiracy Kush and Vortex.
She stands out."

My apologies for the above misinformation...... That last pic was day 40..... I will post another tonight(day 51). I have a Timewreck pheno that grows a crazy spare leaf, and bud calyx too(from the center of a fan leaf!) I will try to post a pic of that tonight as well.

To all of you Sub haters..... why are you taking the time to read, and comment, on TGA strain threads?, if they're all the same... just sayin'....... why waste your time commenting on something that doesn't interest you. I have had tremendous success with TGA gear, and will continue to run TGA strains. I don't push Subs gear on other growers, just like you shouldn't discourage others from trying it.

Have you seen more trichome production with clones than seeds? The recessive traits have come out in my first round of clones. The flavor and trichome development is very different. On a few strains the structure is different too. Me and a buddy were talking about this last night with tga gear or anything crossed with tga gear.

A clone is an exact genetic representation of the mother plant, I only get to grow a particular "seed" plant 1 round, whereas I clone for years..... so I may not notice these recessive traits until I have grown them out a few times. I also believe that plants acclimate to their environment, therefore growing better(more trichs) after a few rounds, I also get to know the plant better. The seedling and I don't quite build the relationship that the offspring(clones), and I get to establish! Sorry no pics last night..... I had other things pending... maybe tonight?!
