speeding up lil ones

I have 3 small lil ones in a grow box under 2 small fluorescent that I got from homedepot, it doesn't get hot in the box so I was wondering should I add another light to help the roots develop faster

Not sure if more light will speed up the root growth, you don't say how old are your lil ones, there are products out there that claim to induce fast root growth but I've never tried any, I guess I just have patients.

While growing under fluoros your not going to get a very speedy growth. Not in comparison to a MH anyways. Just let them do their thing and in time you will be happy you waited. Wise man once told me anything you rush now will always harm the later....

I agree with DoomsDay; patience is a real virtue (and so hard to keep!) with these plants.

It is hard, but remember, human beings function on a 24 hour timeframe. To a plant, 24 hours is nothing.

I hear you guys just thought there was something else I could do to get the roots development faster. They don't need a lot of watering so I thought I needed them to dry out alittle faster so I could water more often to help the roots grow more, but yes I will wait

You didn't say how little, but I've noticed my seedlings grow faster when my temps are around 85, until they are about 3 weeks old, then I drop temps to high 70's, low 80's.
