Well, it's morning of Day 18 of 12/12, and I tthink the stretch is just about done.

Shorties (plants #2 and #3)- Flipped at about 14", stretched to about 17-18".

"Tall" trees (plants #1 and #4) - Flipped at about 16", stretched to about 26-28".

It looks like I have two phenos, with minimal variation within each.

Pics soon.

Not sure exactly what you mean here? The outside branches (6 each plant) are attached to the canopy ring. I can't spread them out any farther because space is limited (see canopy shot). I will Be doing some branch rearranging now that stretch is done. Just haven't had time.

Thanks for the kind words, guys.

Nice. How old are your CQ's? They looking more on the indica or sativa side?

I germinated them in between the 2nd and 3rd week of august however I grew them under T8 flouros until roughly 3 weeks ago when I fired up the 1000MH so they arent as far along as they could be had I put them under the 1000 as soon as possible but right around 55-60 days from sprouting... The last one of the 5 CQ's I planted (4f's 1m) to show sex did so about a week or 2 ago.... 3 of the fems showed pretty much all at the same time, the male took a bit longer than those and that one last female took a good 2+ weeks to show, one more day and it was going in the 12/12 tent with the suspected males for confirmation.....

As far as Indy or sativa I cant really tell, none really look straight up indica at all however 2 are very short (querkle leaning obviously) but the none of them have leaves that have big fat distinctively indica looking fingers..... Once I get them flowering I'll be able to figure everything out of course.... I am itching to pull the trigger though but all my past grows except the last one which I actually waited too long, I've flipped them too soon and got ok yields.... I refuse to flip them before the "right" time this time...... I also have 3 Ace of spades females (out of 3 germed), 2 space dawg fems (out of 5 germinated) all of which I planted at the same time as the cheese quake are all just about where I want them before the flip... One of the aces which is the indica (black cherry soda pheno I'm praying) looking one is going to need quite a bit more veg time I think in order to get a good yield out of her..... The 2 space dawgs look almost identical even though they are from seed and are just about ready to be flipped. The CQ's are all just about ready to go as well except 1 who is gonna need some extra veg time, as I said I believe thats going to be a heavily querkle leaning pheno but I'm not minding that at all, I grew out querkle last year and really REALLY liked it but I kept no cuts of it and anything I did have from prior grows were all culled due to me having to clear out of my grow space in a hurry, I also had a chernobyl (I'm pretty sure it was anyhow) herm on me which made the decision a lot easier....

Anyhow I'll be following you as it looks like your basically about 3 weeks ahead of me... I think in the next 4-7 days I will start the bloom tent up and start the process a few plants every few days because 2 of the ace's are getting kind of large, the 2 SD's are also getting big as well and 1 or 2 of the CQ's are just about there but a little more veg time isnt going to hurt at all so we'll see. I think 3 total plants, 1 ace and 2 cq's are gonna need some extra veg time above and beyond the others that I could easily throw into 12/12 now and get a decent yield out of them but its all good, I'd rather wait......... I'm so excited about the cq and AOS its almost unbearable to not having them budding...

Nice. I'd love to see some pics if you have any. I think you have the right idea giving those short ones
a little extra time. My shorties literally only gained about 4-5 inches of height during 12/12 stretch.

For some reason...I must of been baked outta me mind.... The outside branches looked like they were inside the canopy ring in pic 4? But as I look at pic 3 I can clearly see they are riding the outside of the canopy... Sorry for the confusion!

No worries! There ARE a couple "outside" branches that are inside the canopy ring (pulled out to it). It's mostly just because that ring is off center. If you look at the plant from above it's nicely shaped but the canopy ring is sagging off to one side. Need to get some beefy rings like Nugs makes... Either way, stretch is 99% done, so I'll probably do some final "branch rearranging" before i water this evenig. I'll spread them out as much as I can with my limited space.

Holy crap these CQ's smell delicious... I rubbed a little resin off a leaf on CQ#1 this morning, took a whiff, and it was instant déjà vu... Right back to my childhood, at school, lunch break, with a big fat cream cheese and jam sando... Mmmmmmm... I can't wait!!!!

Lookin' good Sensei! You CQ's don't look quite like either of my phenos, but it may just be the differences in training, light source/angle, etc. Probably closer to my shorties (#2 and #3) but hard to tell. I guess I'll know better when mine either do or don't start stinking like gym socks. Ha!

What's up Nerds?

Time for a quick photo update. Day 24 and counting... They smell fantastic! One plant has what appears to me to be a little bit of burn on the tips/edges. Hopefully it's just a little overfed from the AACT I gave them the other day, and not something else... I'll be keeping my eye on them :eyesmoke:
