Spider mites!

I'm a first time medical grower and I can't believe how many of you reccomend poison for mite control! I don't even want to think about how much poison and mite poop i've smoked.

I've been pretty successful at removing them by misting and by hand.

Also, vermicompost tea works for removing mites, so please, tell people about this option.

My question is: even though the infestation didn't seem too intense, the plant shows major signs of damage, yellow shit all over most of the leaves. I am unknown weeks into flowering, moved from outdoor to indoor, and am wondering if this plant will still produce smokeable buds despite being so ugly.

There is another plant right next to it that is not infested and my theory is that the infected plant is a clone and therefore is weak. This other plant was a "free" seed from amsterdamseedbank.com (ripoff!!!!), so it probubly has shitty genetics, we'll see.

and also, I have these tiny white bugs in my soil and i'm pretty sure it isn't thrips. Any ideas if these could cause a problem?

and p.s. the tiny white bugs in my soil are not white flies. They could be from the spent mushroom compost the soil was ammended with.

Well, I guess I wasn't that successfull after all... I'm considering making a habanero pepper tea solution...

loook into neem oil and dish soap, all natural should work i hear, i have only used as a precaution on new clones before introducing them into the garden

I've had okay luck misting with a solution of 50% rubbing alcohol and 50% H2o and a few drops of dish soap. (Be sure to check the strength of the alcohol on the bottle.) It doesn't seem to solve the problem but will help keep it under control and it's not poison. The alcohol dries the mites out and kills them but just evaporates from the plants. I've never seen any sort of plant reaction to this other than fewer mites.

drop your temps down.. get them to 65 at night and 70 during the day.. the lower the temps the harder it is for eggs and larva to live.. spider mites are bad, get some WARMN water and some soft soap and mist all your plants that are in veg..
