so i went to check out my girls today and noticed a couple spiraled leaves and a couple clawed ones. i was wondering what could be causing it. i am running a 250w hps in 3 gallone grow bags using ffof budblood and gerenal hydroponic nutes 1/2 strenght. i am also adding another pic i was wondering why these leaves are only 3 and 1 blade.

What's your watering cycle like? Watering more than once every day or so?
twisting leaves can be from a fewdifferent things, one being the lights too close,a zinc, calcium or boron deficient plant can display this as well. id do process of elimination and read some of the grow guides on here to narrow your symptoms down.

hope you can get it sorted out!:weed:

i water every couple days when they soil dries out. is their such thing as having light to close to the plants if the heat don't effect them

yes the light can be too close...bleaching and uv rays will hurt the plant...however a 250 would have to be like 2 inches away to hurt them

Yes, but that usually leads to "bleaching" and not clawing/twisting from what I know.

Clawing is usually a sign of build up of some sort, be it from over fert or what have you. Twisting is normally (from my experience anyway) zinc defs.

I would do as suggested above and do some trouble shooting/research on WHAT causes the issues you are seeing BEFORE trying to fix it.

The clawing/retarded growth looks like zinc. If you're not testing your PH that might be causing it. PH lockout will start to show deficiencies after the soil builds it up.

I'd say you're completely stuck until you can at least check your PH both water and runoff. You'll need to do that just to eliminate possibilities.
