Those are extremely overpriced. You can get the same salts for a fraction of the price.

They want $10 for 2 oz of potassium sulfate. I can get a one pound bag for less. Harley might be a very smart guy but I think less of him for pushing these overpriced nutrients.

How to Add Soluble Potash to the Lawn
ByJack Gerard

Soluble potash helps your lawn to stay healthy throughout the year.

RELATED ARTICLES

While nitrogen is an important nutrient for healthy lawns, it isn't the only nutrient that your grass needs. Another important nutrient for healthy grass development is potassium, which not only keeps your lawn healthy against disease, but also assists in photosynthesis and protein synthesis. One method of ensuring that your lawn has enough potassium is through the use of soluble potash. This form of potash dissolves easily in water, allowing your lawn to absorb the potassium it contains through the root system of the grass.

1
Test your soil to see how much potassium it contains. If the potassium level is high then there is no need to apply potash, while applying it is very important if your potassium level is low.

2
Select a soluble potash fertilizer known as muriate of potash for use as a winterizing agent. When comparing fertilizers, look for one that features little, if any, nitrogen or phosphate and a large amount of potassium; potash fertilizers often are listed as 0-0-60 or similar listings.

3
Calculate how much potash you need to apply to your lawn. Check the packaging for specific application ratios, though in general you should apply 1 to 2 pounds of muriate of potash per 1,000 square feet of yard.

4
Place soluble potash granules in a garden sprayer and attach the sprayer to your hose. Turn on the water, using slow and even movements to spray the potash and water over your lawn.

5
Refill the garden sprayer as needed, continuing to spray your lawn until the soil is damp and all of the potash has been distributed.

Highest Purity Crystaline Potassium Sulfate Fertilizer for Fertigation and Hydroponics.
SOP-3IX Sulfate of Potash 0-0-53 with 18% sulfur
Used for creation of liquid blends or fertigation and hydroponics. Low SGN is ideal for fast dissolution.
Sulfate of Potash is a multi-nutrient fertilizer rich in potassium and plant-available sulfate sulfur. Sulfate of Potash is used on high-value crops everywhere for
better yields and quality.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
Use in accordance with recommendations of a qualified individual or institution, such as, but not lim ted to, a certified crop advisor,
agronomist, university crop extension publication, or applied according to recommendations in your approved nutrient management plan.
This fertilizer is intended for use on agricultural crops, turf, ornamentals, vegetables and in other high value crop production systems.

SULFATE OF POTASH
  • HIGH-PERFORMANCE Potassium. An ion exchange method of production is used, which results in material with a guaranteed minimum of 53% K,O.
  • LOW-CHLORIDE AND LOW-SALT index are two primary reasons why high-value crops and crops sensitive to salts and chlorides prefer Sulfate of Potash. Lower risk of crop injury from salts or chlorides typically results in higher yields and a better quality crop.
  • VALUABLE DUAL NUTRIENT containing 18% sulfur in the immediately plant-available sulfate form. Sulfur is required to make chlorophyll, enzymes, vitamins and other essential compounds in all crops; there can be no protein without sulfur.
