spray vs watering for a seedling..

how often should I water my seedling? It is i n a 2 gal plastic pot, indoor using Fluros so there isnt much heat.

Also, i pulled out one of my seedlings by mistake, it has is 1 day old. I covered it with soil and watered it a bit. Will it be ok?

PS, as it is a seedling, is watering better or regular spraying, thanks.

just dont let it dry out, as for the seedling its 50/50 and
both but be careful watering as its roots havent taken yet and it can be washed out

what do you mean by washed out?
The top part of the soil crumples out real quick, maybe less than a day. But when I place the moisture tester it says it is moist. Whats up with that

if water is poured too hard onto the seedlig it erodes the soil around it causing the seedling to be washed out of the soil. the top of the soil will dry out stick your finger about and inch down if its dry down there too it needs watering
