spraying your leaves with water

so i have herd that spraying your plant with a mist bottle does not help at all? is tht true. would it hurt if i did that?

its fine to do it while in the veg stage. just dont overdo it. but when u get into flowering, its not a good idea, u risk getting bud rot. hope i helped bro
