Spring head water!!

i just bought a new house, and in the woods beside my house i discovered a spring that is bubbling water up out of the ground. i was wondering.. is that water good enough to feed my plant?

bought a pump, imma run pbc under the ground to the spring and run it up to my grow room. But yea PH/PPM test will always tell me what i need to know. thanks.

If you take it to your local water dept or water dist. they will test it for free. But natural springs tend to be some of the cleanest water around. Usually coliform and e-coli free. Sometimes a little hard and generally the ph is around nuetral. Which is 7. Test it pretty quick, you may have some great, free water but sometimes these sources dry up in late summer and fall. I have a friend who is a water chemist and springs and artesian supply still supply alot of people in this country.

i run off of a well just like this... we call it a 'flow well'... but it works well.... even without electricity
