Sprinkler heads keep getting clogged

This is my first grow, and it's a dyi setup. I'm having problems with my sprinkler heads getting clogged. :wall: They are misters with a 360 degree spray. Is there other heads that still spray 360 with larger holes for the spray so it doesn't get clogged? If so, please tell me what I need to ask for when I go to HD or Lowes.

Thanks!

all you really need is to figure out why they are clogging.

if its debris from the water, (specks of dirt n shit) then all you need to do is install a small screen inline to filter it. (any plumbing store, tell em you need a faucet screen)

if its hard water buildup, then theres not much u can do other than use softened water.

if they are metal heads such as brass, see if plastic heads are made. metal builds up deposits faster do to ion charge

I'm sure it's probably the nutrients and additives in the res. Darn that bat guano!
I've added a drop of "Drip Clean" (phosphoric acid and potassium oxide) to keep them clean, so I'll see what happens by tomorrow. My pump pushes 600 gph, so I don't think the pump is the problem. I'm also running distilled and RO water.

Thanks for your suggestions

I'll keep you posted on what happens/

goto your local aquarium, ask for pump inline filter, for a bout $2 you can get one, put one either side of your pump this keeps any debris from reaching the misters, weekly mister cleaning also helps.

In school they said that you can put an inline filter before your nozzle array so you might want to investigate that.
