So how's the taste of NFT grown weed?
The thing is, I live in Amsterdam and in coffeeshops here it's known to avoid hydro growns.. cause they lack alot of flavor and taste like chemicals..
But I thnk it's the grower not the system.. I decided I'm buying a GHE Aeroflo 28, going to place 14 plants in there. I saw a good deal in a place not far from here.. 375euros full system.

Any experience with those? I'm going hydro for the quick growth and yield ability.

The taste of all 3 strains was fantastic! Clean white ash and not chemy at all, taste nothing but the herb... I believe it is the grower, some do not flush at all because they want to get that last week of Phosphorus and the buds do grow bigger/denser. I always flush for at least a week and usually aim for 10 days. In my opinion the hydro herb is far superior as long as it was flushed correctly..
The only problem I see with the GHE Aeroflo 28 is the spacing of the holes.. You either have to do them real small and start budding at like 2-3 inches or space them out and do every other hole.. In this system that would leave you 3 in each tray because you do not want one in the last hole. The cannabis roots get way to long and tend to clog up the drain hole.. If this happens the tray will fill up and it will turn to water culture..
If they sell vinyl fence post out there I would try to make it yourself… But it will work! If you do end up getting it, I’d go with the all but the last hole filled and veg SMALL! That way you get 24 small plants that will finish quick!! Seperate the trays like 6-12 inches also!

Good luck!

wow, your grow is amazing man!!!
Thanks! I do love the hobby of growing my own medicine! We changed it up the second time around and went with a Top Fed, be sure to check it out! The system works great and easy to handle!

Cheers!

Well I have seen 1 seed bank online that has OG seeds.. Can’t really remember but Its one of the bigger seed banks. I'll try to find it.. I was lucky to get a few mothers of the OG on in the last two rows.. I did a huge favor someone who would have never given them up and I made him share... ;) The Duff Man OG came from seeds found in 1/4 from a clinic.

I have had success with flipping a plant (with STS) taking the pollen and fertilizing another.. I'm thinking of doing this to this strain, basically herm one out, back cross it with itself and gathering the feminized seeds from the pollinated plant not the flipped.. Sounds like fun to me!!! I want the seeds also!!!

Did you see my other grow thats all OG? (well 2 skywalker) Link below!

She not that young, I started with 2 big mothers and have cut and regrown her maybe 4 times now.. The original mothers are long gone and the new cloned mothers have all been months old and at least 3 feet when cut... Seems like OG might just need an extra push that I'm missing?!

Thanks for peeking at the grow...

Cheers!

Nice setup. Wouldn't trimming the lower branches encourage the plant to grow upward? Also, i don't ever trim anything after flowering has begun, from what i've read its not a good idea. Whats the sativa/indica ratio on the Duffman? It looks more sativa to me, just wondering. The setup is awesome though and seems like plants took off fast.

I'm not sure if trimming the lower branches encourages vertical growth, but I do know it helps with ventilation and the prevention of mold..

In many of my older set ups I would only veg for 3 days so trimming during flowering was inevitable.. No harm to the plants or the harvest, in fact in most cases seemed to increase harvest and give overall bigger buds.. We had to do it this time also because they seemed to be getting to crowded.. I never like to do it past the 2nd week of 12hr unless absolutely necessary!

The Duffman was bag seed from a SoCal Clinic so I’m not sure the ratio.. I would say its at least 70-80% sativa…
